Express Feelings by Journaling. Students will learn various ways to express their emotions constructively. As part of my talk, students receive journals.

Share thoughts on Abstraction. Students reflect on their writing skills and are taught strategies to derive meaning from seemingly "challenging" work.

Write a poem using symbolic themes. Students will first learn to listen more acutely as a means of understanding poetry. This is followed by a guided approach to writing. After this is achieved, students create their own verse using the strategies that they learned.

Celebrate Diversity / Inclusion all year. Students develop a deeper appreciation of equity and empathy seeing themselves reflected in the images and work of diverse creatives.
